So funny!!

I was browsing online, and came across THIS, take a minute. It's totally awesome.

Are you bored of us yet?

I bet no one expected me to be blogging so often! I'll try to keep it up, we have tons of cute things to show you. First things first...

Elliott's cousin Tamsine was over about 2 weeks ago. She's 8 months old and loves touching and feeling things. She was totally enthralled with Elliott and couldn't keep her hands off him!

This was New Year's Eve. Good friends of ours, Amber and Jeremy Rowley, were visiting from New Jersey. It's a tradition to play a game called Killer Oompee (creative license on the spelling... I don't even know if the game has a correct spelling) whenever we get together. We make up punishments for each round's loser. Jacob lost, so he had to eat out of Jeremy's nose. Only my husband...

I only got a couple cute smiles, but it's still cute. Poor guy can't even get real sympathy from his mom while he falls over... Several times.

Today I found little red bumps on Elliott's back and tummy. The pediatrician said that it would probably clear up, so just watch it and if it gets any worse to bring him in. I thought it might have been the detergent we used in a few of his outfits, so we had naked day today. He really liked it, just like his dad.

Grandma Ashley sent Elliott a bunch of clothes Jacob had when he was little, and we're dressing him in them because he's already almost too big for some of them! This is a cute shirt, it says "I need love too". Who needs a reminder though, when he's just so lovable already!?

Random pics from before Elliott

So I realized that before Elliott was born, I really rarely put pictures up on my blog, but I would take pictures for the purpose of posting them. This is my catch-up post.

Halloween 2008: We went to a few parties... Jacob has to show off his Jedi costume whenever possible! :)
This was us right before going to a party given by our friends Jason and Rachel Sabin. (I was a missionary... Get it?) Jacob won best costume I think...? He was pretty excited, because the prize was a gift card to Best Buy, and we all know how he feels about Best Buy...

He was pretty excited to use his light saber, and took the opportunity to fight whoever and whenever. By the end of the night he was pretty beat, this kid really did a number on him.

This was at the party of another friend, Jenny Furr. I had gone all day forgetting that the party was that night, so I just cut out a cardboard jack-o-lantern and taped it to an orange shirt, although a few people thought it was the kool-aid guy.

What do you think?

On Halloween night we went over to Rheanna and Doug's house to watch a scary movie. Doug fell asleep on Rhea's shoulder and hilarity ensued:

Apparently Doug can be a pretty sweaty guy... (at least it isn't drool)

Two days before Elliott was born I had the opportunity to see my favorite band from when I was 12 years old... New Kids on the Block!! (Yes, I said two DAYS before Elliott was born) My friend Stacy tried to talk me into buying tickets months prior to the concert, but I thought I would be on bed rest, and tickets could get up to about $300. I told her no way, but the day of the concert my good friend Kandis had a couple extra tickets from her job at Make-a-Wish Foundation, and we were able to go... Free of charge! Thank you, Make-a-Wish! You certainly made mine come true!! :)

This is Stacy and me in front of the stadium where the concert was. We were beyond excited!!

These are the girls who went (yes, there were boys in our group too... I just didn't know them).
L to R: Kandis, Virginia, Sarah, me, Stacy, Penny, and I don't know the two girls on the end. Thanks again, Kandis!! Jordan was just as dreamy as he was back when I was 12! :)
After the concert we all went to IHop and were goofing around. This is Sarah and me just being goofy, we were feeding each other hash browns.
Here we are! This was right before we left for the hospital the day our lives changed forever! Thanks for catching up with us! :)

Sorry, no photos... Just announcements

So I have decided that soon we'll have a private blog, but I don't know everyone's email addresses to send them invites. If you would be so kind as to let me know this information, that would be appreciated so you will be able to continue viewing our wonderful blog!

Also, for some reason I accidentally deleted my old blog list of friends and family. I have a few links to others' blogs, but I lost some, and I want them back so I can keep tabs on my peeps! Let me know your blog address so I can put you on there please! (You know who you are...)

Thank you, and good night.

Our sweet boy

Here are some photos to get Grandma Ashley by until I have time to post some more videos. We have some way dang cute ones, so check back soon!

This is the hat that Grandma Ashley got him. He still fits in it, amazingly! His head is getting so big so fast, but he's sure got a cute fat head. :)
This is right after he unbuttoned his pants after eating too much.
He was just blinking, but I think this picture is too cute! This is how he blinks when he's tired, it's like a deliberate blink, I don't know how to explain it. Super cute.
Halfway smile
This is the cutest little bear outfit, we called him our little ewok when he was in it. He doesn't fit into it anymore, so sad.
Here it is close up.
He was wearing Jacob's hat, and it was just sooo cute!! Here's a good shot of his chubby cheeks. This doesn't even come close to conveying how chubby his cheeks really are.

His smile just lights up his whole face, it is so dang cute. He's such a blessing to our little family, we have been having so much fun with him. What a sweet boy...
